I hit the nut flush on the river, value bet, and then get check-raised with a str8 flush possible. What should I do -- call or reraise?

The raiser has been a big winner at the table so far, but I only had a very limited number of hands in my pto db (around 40). It was obvious that he was aggressive pf and post flop and so far was a big winner.

One leak in my game that I have not given enough respect to suspicious "plays" from winning players. I have been quartered quite a few times in big pots by not respecting raises and reraises from winning players (e.g., I jam with a wheel and get quartered with a 6-high str8). I am wondering if maybe I gave a bit too much respect here.

Of course, if this guy is a donk, I jam. I am willing to pay off donks on their monsters because more often than not they don't actually have it.

No, I'd rely on my read of the player. Mostly without info I still think I'd raise it up, you get idiots at higher levels too. Against a "known" good player, though, I think I'd be calling.

It also depends on the stacks - if one raise puts you all in, it's probably correct against a majority of opponents. If both of you are deep, i.e. if you raiser there's still enough money for him to make a re-re-raise, you should be much more inclined to just call it.
