im not good at reading hands in PLO yet so bear with me. on the flop i cant tell if i have best hand, despite my twopair + osed. that flush draw scares me so i dont raise. should i?

same problem on turn ?

I am a big fan of min-raising in position when I have a 150bb+ stack. There is some discussion of this move in Rolf's book. It is not designed as an isolation move; rather, it makes the game play bigger on later streets, but does not allow your opponent to limp/re-pot pre-flop and blow you off the hand. Your hand is disguised, and it will be easier to get the majority of the money in good when the flop hits you.

I have been using this move effectively at PLO8 also. Granted I play mostly at the PLO8 50s, but I dabble short stacked in PLO 400s and from what I have seen, deep stacks sometimes employ the pre-flop min-raise for this exact purpose (and it frustrates a short-stacker that was looking to limp-repot all in (or close to it), not that I want to tell you how to best defend against a short stack. . .)
