i generally like the lead, but if you catch someone raising your leads a bit too often to be believeable, you either need to CR or reraise occassionally to keep them honest.

i've run into this in SH games, and i find that i rarely get called... villain either repops (to which i usually fold) or folds.

of course, i actually like to do the CR play with air sometimes so that i either get value from a valueless hand and/or i don't end up folding a winner when testing villains resolve. if i get a villain who will showdown REALLY light, i'll just put them in as often as i think i have the best hand/draw and just roll the dice.

honestly, this happens very rarely and villain must be drunk or not care about money (e.g., higher stakes player donking around).
