I checked planning on calling as I would be drawing to a better boat if someone already had it. When no one bet, I decided to see who was interested on the turn and just got a call. The river didn't help and if I was behind before, i was still behind Anyone even consider a value bet?

I think this worked out perfectly. I obviously have the nuts but I want to get some money in there so I can make a big bet and scare out flush draws. I got exactly what I wanted. Leading out might have won me a bigger pot but with alot more risk.

In hindsigt, this play just seems stupid as only someone with a higher flush will call and since he raised preflop, he could easily have Ax hearts. However, i think he knows i'm solid so maybe he would fold the K high flush? No, If I really had the A high flush, you would think I would just call, although I am a nutpeddling bastard. If he raises me, its safe to fold. If I call, I will likely not get anything from him later since he likely doesn't have a set or flush.

Should I have called or raised less? I ended up isolating with the REALLY short stack when i could have gotten some money out of the larger stack. Of course if i would have lost it to JT from the big stack, I have no one to blame but myself.

I went for the check raise and failed. On the turn, if anyone had the boat, they would raise. I was suprised the river was checked down. Do you call any bet on the river?

thanks for taking the time. I know not to look for a detailed explanation or anything since I post so many hands so I appreciate your effort in giving your opinion. I've been playing ALOT of PLO recently and questionable hands come up all the time.
