While having a conversation with a friend on AIM, I came up with a few questions and wanted some more opinions on an answer or what would be the right plays.
First, how do you feel about limping with Axxx from EP when your A and two other cards are suited. Assume a regular table that raises periodically preflop but sometimes checked around. What if it were connectors like AT76 three same suit? How about from MP and LPif you would fold it in EP? Is this an overall leak if you are playing these types of hands since you are holding one of your outs?
Second, am I too tight folding KKxx in EP if they are all offsuit? I realize if my hand is KK76 I would play it but if it were KK73 all offsuit, I usually fold it. Thoughts?
What about same situation but you have AAxx all offsuit. because you are essentially playing to flop a set when your other cards suck? I have yet to fold AAanything PF but know when to let it go if not helped on the flop.
Lastly, is folding AAxx (no real big features, just a marginal AAxx hand) to a raise too tight? What about a reraise? Base your answers on loose and tight players.
Thanks for your input. You may notice this question posted elsewhere so just ignore the others.
