APs can also be misleading as some sites update them infrequently (Stars), update them after practically every hand with a short sample size (Party?), or simply lie (Pacific). But it's still my main criteria. I'll tend not to LEAVE a table with a low AP if I feel there's a good chance of me winning (good handle on an opponent, a feeling the low pot sizes are due to a string of poor hands etc), but when selecting tables it's generally all I look at, with flop% being the only other area that interests me. I play too many tables on too few sites to be much more selective than that.
