I've got a full buyin as do most players. I limp with in MP and 9 players see the flop which is . Aggressive player who has been raising and betting a lot pots it and gets two callers when it gets to me. I have two people yet to act behind me. I decide to pot it, everyone folds.
I was considering flat calling. A few things I considered:
- I have no re-draw at the moment.
- I have two 9's so it's less likely someone else has the nuts
- It is doubtful someone will fold top set, don't know for sure though
- I have an 8 so less chance of top set
- If I flat call it is possible someone will bet the turn, but I don't know how likely
- I have TWO backdoor flush draws so I could pick up a free roll against another straight on the turn
I just ended up taking the safe route and forcing everyone out, do any of you flat call here?

Later I have and limp in LP. 9 players see the flop which comes:
What I think is a tight player pots into me. I have 4 players behind me. I flat call as does a shortstack in EP.
Turn is the putting a flush draw out. Both players check to me and I pot it, shortstack calls all-in with AT74s for three-pair and the nut flush draw, river bricks and I drag.
Correct to wait for a safe turn card here on the flop?

I limp with in EP (yeah, a bit too loose). 6 players see the flop:
Blinds check to me, I check and so does the rest. Turn is the giving me the nut straight. I pot it and a player that is at least aggressive *preflop* raising a lot flat calls me in position, the rest fold. River is the , I lead with a pot bet and he folds.
I felt immediatly this was the wrong choice. Should I check/call, check/fold.. I don't know. My quick reasoning was that I could get him to fold the same straight but I don't think he has a straight or he would have raised the turn. In fact, I have no idea what he has. Maybe he was floating, in which case a check is best. Totally lost here.
Off topic: One guy flopped quad 5's in a 4 way pot in EP. Checked the flop, it was checked around. Checked the turn, it was checked around and then.... checked the river. It was checked down and he won a mighty 4.5BB's. NIHAN!
