This is a $100 table on Stars, and the players to my left have been bothering me a bit, particularly the re-raiser, who is doing this the second time. I haven't really seen any of their hands, because I haven't found a spot that I liked up to now. But my feel is that they don't need a whole lot to play this aggressively. They're not maniacs really, but they're bothersome enough that I need to find a spot to make a stand. Here's the one I picked:
2 limpers, and I complete in SB with 789J single suited to the J in clubs. BB ($114) now raises to $6, and UTG (the most bothersome player with position on me and $96 in chips) now makes it $15. The last time this guy re-raised, it was a little more passive than that. I'm pretty confident he has AA this time.
Folded to me, I feel like this is worth a call with my $108. BB also calls.
Flop then comes 963 with 2 spades that I don't have. My plan at this point is to CR AA. I think I'm usually ahead and not terribly far behind even if he has the spade draw. I've also been folding quite a bit up to now, so I do think my bets will get as much respect as these players are willing to give to anybody.
Anyhow, now BB pots for $45. UTG pushes.
I... CRAI
