A hold'em teacher can teach you what hands to play, how much to play them for, and about making positive expected value plays. A seven-card stud teacher can teach you how to count live cards, to figure the most likely hands of opponents based on their up-cards. An Omaha teacher can teach you about the sort of cards you're looking for, what "packets" of cards go well together, and when to livepokerforum. But anybody can learn to play one game. It really isn't that hard to become a somewhat successful player at a game or two.
But for those who aren't looking to just make a few bucks playing hold'em at a monthly game need look no further than Adam The Expert for sage advice. His name says it all. It's not Adam The Hold'em Expert, or Adam The Hi-lo Genius; it's Adam The Expert. He's played practically every game there is, and won! He can use advanced plays that would look like idiocy to the untrained mind, because he's learned them in other games.
He's the master of applying skills from one game to another; this is why he is the Expert. You could make up a poker game, and within a few hours he would be able tobe a winning player at it, just by applying his vast knowledge from other games to this one.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a tutor on any play iin any poker game, you can toss out even the greatest books like Super System and the such, because your money would be far better spent on an hou or twor with the Expert.
