Okay, so I was pretty bored of holdem and thought I'd play some micro limit 7 card stud, even tough I've always been averse to it. Anyways, I enjoyed it and the poker maxim of needing to be one of the best players at the tables was somewhat reversed to where I was probably on of the least dreadful at the table.
But any general stud 'rules'? I know the start with Jacks or better maxim but as I only intend to play up to 1/2 until I'm more skilled, I'm going to be multi way every hand, so I suppose drawing to flushes and straights makes more sense. Then again flushes seem better to draw to as straights seem pretty rare to draw to as it seems infrequent to be open ended and they're still vulnerable to flushes and houses.
I've started reading the stud chapter in Super System anyways, though as their is no Stud Hi chapter in SS2, is the Chip Reese chapter still deemed as definitive?
Thanks in advance for any pointers.
