Everyone getting sick of Stud yet?

This hand is about one hour into my session and I'm down about $40. I'm dealt rolled up sixes.

seat8 brings in, and seat5 is the only caller to me. I just call and seat7 calls behind me.

On fourth, I pick up a king, but the others seem to brick out. I lead out and get two calls - the bring-in (who received a 9 on 4th) folds.

On fifth, I still don't improve, and seat five picks up my last six.

I lead out again and now seat7 comes in for a raise and seat5 folds. With seat7's impressive T93 showing - I have to figure he's bluffing (especially since he's known to do that frequently), so I reraise - he calls.

On sixth, I pick up another king to make my boat and he pairs his doorcard ten. I lead out and he calls. On the river I get a seven and lead off again - he raises, I reraise, he calls. He shows nines full and takes the pot.

Now, I realize there really isn't anything I can do here - because he caught his nine on the river. Would anyone have this differently?

I might not have reraised the river as I think I telegraphed that I had at least K's up and he's showing all lower cards and no draw. The only thing you are beating is if he overplayed trips. If he's the loose reckless type, I put in more bets, if not, i seriously consider not reraising the river...........Ah, who am I kidding? I have a boat!! Raise!

I think I have mentioned this before but I will again. There is usually no good time to limp in when you are rolled up particularly when they are small. You already have one caller, raise to try to prevent anyone else from entering the pot because as good as trips are to start the fewer players you have to contest the better. Maybe the only time I would limp is when I am last to act against the bring in bet.

He raises you on his board of 10 9 3 and then he improves on 6th by pairing his door card. At this point I am still not slowing down but when he raises the river I am just going to call. You were fortunate he didn't cap it off.
