Trump34 and I both played in the November Silver Iron Man. We both cashed. It wasn't difficult and there really is not need to actually play until you get down to the money. There is usually enough away people to just selectively steal blinds or push made hands until you get to that point. In fact Trump had a guy on his table that was ITM and was away the whole time.
Are they worth the time though? That's the question. If you are gonna multitable and just try and wade your way in, then probably. Otherwise the payout isn't worth much until you get down to the final few.
It's isn't hard to recoup what you lose for MGR though.
