Not too bad given the average session time / day for any single player is probably 1-2 hrs. as mentioned above it probably means about 300k daily cash game players (with a very long tail of occasional or weekend players).

Also it ignores MTT's and SNG's as an awful lot of real money players don't play Ring games at all..

The question is are the numbers going up or down - that would be the most significant trend.

Wow. I just discovered this. The thing that strikes me is how quickly Full Tilt has grown and how far Ultimate Bet has fallen.

Full Tilt poker has more people playing most of the times than Ongame. The fourth place is disputed between Absolute and Ongame now. When I joined FTP in april 2006, they had at peak times 12K players, now they have over 24K. That is an outstanding growth.

They are definetely the fastest growing poker site. Even with this, Party and Stars own the business. They both had 60K players back in December 2004, when i first played poker, now they have 110-120K on peak times. AMAZING.
