Just wondering about the future of poker, whether things are heading downhill, picking back up, or what.
Here's what's up at my home site, Bodog. Bodog is not a particularly big site. The software limits you to playing 3 tables at once. This is what's running right now (roughly 4:00 PM Central Time on a Thursday afternoon, during the NCAA tourney):
$10 NL - 48 tables running
$25 NL - 32 tables
$50 NL - 17 tables
$100 NL - 18 tables
$200 NL - 11 tables
$300 NL - 5 tables
$400 NL - 1 table
$600 NL - 0 tables
$1000 NL - 3 tables
$2000 NL - 1 table (2 players)
That is a hell of a lot of baby stakes players. They're not pros obviously. Are they new fish in training? I sure hope so.
What are you guys seeing in terms of low stakes games at other sites?
