Hey... For GOD knows whatever reason, I just started using PT (again) about a month and a half ago... And I don't know what the fuck I was doing without it...
Anyways, this is probably a stupid newbie question, but hell, I'm a newbie (sorta), so here goes...
I have a pretty dedicated "poker laptop" that has all kinds of disk space, etc (80 GB-porn=... crap... hope I left enough for PT...)... My thought came about as I was sitting at Party table after Party table w/ 15% VPIP (believe it or not)... I jumped around for an hour or so, took a couple stacks... I was freakin on fire... But I couldn't really find anywhere to play, and it's hard datamining for a half hour or so when ALL of the tables are so bad... I was trying to think of a way I could get a more "insta-table image", and the best way I could think of was to have stats on ALL of the players for a long time... So, I decided that, instead of playing, I would open 4 tables on Party, Empire, and Multi, and just datamine the hell out of them all night... Even though I'm SURE I won't have significant stats on all of the people at future tables, I'm pretty sure that, eventually, I'll start having a lot of stats on 5 or 6 guys at a table at a time, which sounds like a good start...
My main question is... are there any drawbacks to this method...? I'm not saving the hand histories, so disk space shouldn't be an issue... But, are the MASSIVE amounts of players and stats I'm going to accumulate gonna dick up my PT...? Is there a way to over-stat the thing...?
Thanks...
