Hand 1: I started to say this was over-aggressive, since you missed your flush draws (except the backdoor). Then I realized that you flopped 2 pair--maybe not top 2 but still. I think you're good to go here HU and like the way you played it. The backdoor is also a nice extra.

I'm not completely sure about whether I prefer the check-raise to betting out here (neither is bad imo). Betting out allows you to see the turn before making a decision--I think a diamond, obviously a 2, probably a J, actually less so an A all help you, and a complete blank is also in your favor. Betting out, in any case (not saying it's necessarily better, but I think it's at least a valid option) would allow you to possibly take down the pot immediately, and otherwise call a pot-sized raise, seeing the turn before committing your stack. A heart would almost kill your hand, I think, depending on how he reacts to it. And I'm not happy about other cards that could make a straight--OOP it may also be difficult to find out where you're at on turns like that. But I'd probably have to lay down on the scary turns if he bet pot at me.

Hand 2: Well, he's repping KK, TT or possibly a very aggressive KT (or KQJT) on the flop, then makes a weak turn bet.

I think I push here, as I think at this level a set is going to have major trouble laying down--2 pair possibly as well. If he does have AJ, at least you have your flush to fall back on.

hand 1 - he had AK87 with 2 hearts. turn was a Qd and river gave me the flush so I out flopped him but he had plenty of outs. he turned the nuts and i resucked out on the river.

I don't like a lead out. if he raises me, i'm committed with his stack size if i choose to continue at that point (assuming max raise). I want to put the most pressure on him if its all going in and to do that, i need to check raise.

Hand 2 - i reraised all in. He had ATcJx so he had the nut flush draw, second pair and gutshot on flop and he it it on the turn. I didn't fill up and he won the pot.
