Do you let it go or try to end it right here? All players seemed decent except for the biggest stack who would call raises w/ 56 offsuit or just check down top pair or even flush, but bet through with middle or bottom pair. Just plain wierd and lucky catching cards.

I thought that if he had a big hand he would have raised all-in instead of just calling. The big difference here is that top 6 all get the same prize.

Yes, at that stage a call usually indicates a huge hand. If he had something marginal like jacks or Ak he probably would have raised all in to get HU versus the shorty. By just calling he is trying to give you the right odds to call, given the odds that you will have to call a push (or letting him pick up the side pot for free).

Yeah I guess you guys are right. I don't think I could have easily folded my way in though. We were going back and forth for a long time. Everyone was the chip leader at some point and almost everyone was low stack.

On a side note, I just finished 7th again, but this time out of 261. Hand I went out on..........JJ on the button. SB had AK and an A fell on the turn. I actually made a few bucks on this one though.
