So I figured I would start my first journal entry. I have a few sessions in, but we're going to start with today's session, althought it's going to be brief and lack some detail.

Today happened to be an OK day until about the last 1.5 hours of playing, where I couldn't get a hand to hold-up for the life of me...but I still ended the day in positive #s

I played a good amount of hours today at the 50NL game at pokerstars, mostly 2 and 3 tabling throughout. I just recently got pokertracker, so I'll be keeping my stats from there posted as well as my daily earnings or losses (hopefully we don't get too many of these).

You're gonna hear it from everyone else so I might as well be first. Your bankroll is too small for 50nl. Bonus-whore at the 25nl tables until about 800 bucks (at least, imo) and then try those stakes

Session 1:

I woke up at right around 12:30pm, so that means no class for me today...how sad. I got some food, watched TV for a couple minutes, and jumped on the tables at right around 1pm. I got on 3, 50NL tables at pokerstars.

I had a slow start today, not seeing anything that I liked for awhile, and then I had a few people draw on out me...and saw myself down about $35 or so. Whatever, no big deal at all. I climbed my way back up for a while, and doubled up on a KK vs JJ hand that was actually rather interesting. Once I figure out how to post hands up, I'll start doing that for you guys.

Anyway, I ended the session with profit, and that's what I'm always looking to do.
