Godlike:

You are doing what I want to do for the time being, I think: tight, aggressive, multi-table grinding. Can you kick me down your chart? I don't know if this is proprietary information, but I thought I'd ask.

What about you, M to the V to the m**her-f**kin' P...What the f*ck are you playin', G.?

Interesting discussion re reverse implied odds...I don't pretend to understand all the ins and outs yet (insert Brokeback Mountain joke here), but Godlike's breakdown echoes my limited understanding.

KennyG, KennyG...
The man the bitches be
Lining up to see
Like the G.'s got three
Nuts in his B.A.G.

KennyG, KennyG...
Preachin' man from monkey
Now if only he
could sanctify me
So a m**her-f**kin' G.
Could make some money.

Word it up, y'all...

Godlike:

I'd love to see both, but I was referring to your starting hands chart.

im on my laptop atm, but i'll post some PT stats when i get back to my main comp (tomorrow), as for a starting hands chart..i don't exactly have one persay, i have a rough guideline for pure tight ABC play, basically pairs, AK, AQ from LP, and some SCs..but it changes so much depending on other things, for example at tribeca i've found it's more profitable to play AJ/KQ/KJ type hands than it is to play 67s, J9s, type hands, as a lot of donks will limp with stuff like K6 or J4 and call bets to the river if they hit top pair, once u get a read that someone will do this it's a pure gold mine.. but at other sites like UB or Stars even where the players are tighter in general, you'd make more money from hands like 78s where u can hit a straight/flush/2pr against someone's TPTK/GK and you'd probably lose money with hands like AJ as they're really 'trap' hands and you'll be dominated more often than not..

Check these two hands out...Did I play correctly?

Paradise Poker

Stack sizes:
UTG: $3.70
UTG+1: $3.10
HitmanXL: $12.15

MP2: $12.00
MP3: $8.90

UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, HitmanXL raises to $0.5, 4 folds, Button calls, 3 folds.

HitmanXL bets $1, Button raises to $3, HitmanXL folds.
Uncalled bets: $2 returned to Button.

Results:
Final pot: $3.25

Would you guys have folded QQ to that raised 3 spade flop?

Paradise Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10
10 players

Stack sizes:
HitmanXL: $10.50
UTG+1: $25.75
UTG+2: $10.90
MP1: $6.75
MP2: $2.93
MP3: $9.20
CO: $6.79
Button: $3.10
SB: $2.75
BB: $3.65

Pre-flop: (10 players) HitmanXL is UTG with [5h] [5d]
HitmanXL calls, UTG+1 raises to $0.3, UTG+2 calls, 4 folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls, HitmanXL folds.

Flop: [7h] [Kh] [Ts] ($1.35, 4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Button checks.

Turn: [6d] ($1.35, 4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Button checks.

River: [6h] ($1.35, 4 players)
BB bets $0.6, 2 folds, Button calls.

Results:
Final pot: $2.55

In situations like this one, where you limp in and someone behind you raises, what do y'all do? Do you call if it's only a 2 x BB raise? How many BB's would you call? Would you fold if it's raised at all because you have a starting hand worth a limp but no more? I suppose it depends on what exactly your limping hand is, and other table factors, but in the above hand, with 55 UTG and a limp, would you call 3 x BB?

Well the first hand is pretty tough and without a good read on him one way or the other I can't really say what I would do but in a small pot like that I would likely fold up shop. The second had you need to call that small raise. The raiser has a big stack and you have other folks in there as well. Aot of folks say if he has 10 - 15 times whatever his raise is and you have the same you should call and I pretty much agree with that line.

Now I've got something serious going on here, y'all...piersmajestyk has come in and, along with the MecosKing, added a little majesty to yours truly's thread...I'm not worthy.

Those are sweet hands...That's the kind of sh*t I want to be pullin' at some point...Did you get any comments when you showed those down?

hand #2 pocket pairs are your friend! if you hit a set you can stack an opponent with an over pair fairly easily.

how to play pocket pairs -
if opponent has 10x the times of his raise in his stack, you should call with any pocket pair (assuming you have that much covered of course.)

reason being... you flop a set 1 in 7.5. so in order to call a sizeable raise you want to make MORE then that 7.5 (10 or more) to make it profitable in the long run.

complicated.....someone else could probably explain it better.
