Wow. I mean really.... WOW.
Current mood: calm
I was gonna post about acting and all of that fun stuff... but after the most brutal pounding I've taken in quite some time...well I'll just let the hand histories speak for themselves:
I'll type it out since bodog hand histories are so hard to read. But i'll leave the hand numbers so you guys can check if you want... this was crazy.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 1: #246448425 1:37:26 am
7 Handed
Dealt
on the button.
Dellpoker raises to $70 in LP. He's loose and I have position so I make the call. I have a great, loose aggressive image against him. Also a few minutes ago he just bad beated me horribly with a 2 outer for a 4k pot. He probably thinks i'm steaming..which I'm not.
One guy in the blind comes along.
FLOP $260
Blind checks. Dellpoker bets $150. I raise to $400. Blind folds. Dellpoker calls.
TURN $1060
Dellpoker insta-pushes for about $1500. I call. He flips over KQo.
RIVER $3971
turn odds to win hand: me 93.18% him 6.82%
...............................................................................................
5 handed
Hand: 246456701 1:49:39 am
I have
[Ts] in the BB.
SB raises to $60. I call. Incinerator is the SB. He's an experienced and aggressive shorthand player.
FLOP$120
SB bets $90. I opt to call here. There's a good chance he's bluffing and I want to try and take it on the turn if I sense weakness. Also, I had a backdoor flush draw and the nut gutshot... so I also had some outs.
TURN$300
money card. I now have the nuts with the royal draw. He bets $220. I raise to $600. He reraises to $1300 and I push for my last $700 and change.
He calls and flips over AsKh
RIVER $4801
ugh....
turn odds to win hand: me 90.91% him 9.09%
--------------------------------------------------------------
5 handed. This hand was a tough one.. another one against dell... but my instinct was I was winning the hand... my only doubt was on the river.
Hand Number: 246428073 1:08:56am
Dealt
[Qd] in the SB. Dellpoker (loose, aggressive, sometimes donkish) raises to $100 on the button. I call.
FLOP$220
I have an underpair of queens w/ a queen high flush draw. I check to the raiser. Dell bets $150. I raise to $400. Dell calls.
TURN $1020
After a long debate within myself, I bet $700 and will call his last $700 if he raises... I think he's drawing or that he thinks I'm drawing.. but he's too weak. I can't really explain all my thinking here, i've played with him a ton and this was all feel and instinct. Anyway...
Dellpoker calls the $700.
RIVER$3958
I checked and called his $770 allin. (I thought there was a good possibilty he'd push for the rest with an ace high flush draw that missed.)
He flips Jc Jh and takes it with his rivered set..........
turn odds to win hand: me 95.45% him 4.55%
---------------------------------------------------------------
4 handed
hand number: 246448425 1:37:26am
This one isn't so bad. It just tells me I shouldn't slow play... my first real slowplay of the month and it costs me.
Dealt
[Kc] in the BB. SB is incinerator who I mentioned before is an experienced shorthand player and very aggressive.
SB raises to $60. I call with position.
FLOP$120
7T3 rainbow
We both check.
TURN$120
7T3 5 completes rainbow
he bets $90. I call.
RIVER $300
7T3 57
he bets $220 I raise to $600... he calls with
[7d] for trips on the river.
turn odds to win hand: me 88.64% him 11.36%
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Add up all these pots and you have
+/- $15000. All mine were on the minus side of course.
I'm glad I have a legit bankroll.
The good thing I can take from this is I didn't tilt. I had ample opportunity to lose my emotional control, but didn't. After the last beat (the 4 outer AK full house against my straight) I just left the table. I wasn't tilting yet, but I knew one more hand and I would go ballistic.
I lost about $3800 in this session (which is spectacular considering.) I feel great about my play. This could have been much worse. I guess that's why I'm a professional.
Now I need to go work on my lines for the play. Good luck everybody!
