Yeah, good playing with you TN. Too bad you caught me during the week, when I seem to be a bad poker player, and not on one of my weekend heaters.

Wow, Just dropped 280 or so. Including losing a 158 pound pot with an open ended straight flush draw against a pair of nines (absolute maniac). Ouch.

Anyway, drinking my last beers for a while right now and eating my last pizza for a while now.

I think Im going to start a new project, seeing as sunpoker has not treated my well this week.

Anyway.

When you only have a potential flush draw working for you on 3rd street it is probably a better play to just limp in. In this case 2 of your club outs are gone as well as two of your cards being dead in other peoples hands. This hand could very well be folded on 3rd.

Heading to Palmer on a Valley Ralley. My buddy moe is hanging with his wife and her friends tonight, so going to chill with the (hopefully slutty) nurses out there.

I won $200 earlier, then dropped $300 tonight and I dont feel the least bit bad about it. I dont know if that is a good sign or not. I guess I can distinguish between not playing well and not hitting anything (although there is definately some bad play mixed in). I think I still overplay my 1 pair/2 pair hands, but I still dont know what to do with super passive tables and that situation.

Anyway, in the shower, then on the road.

Even with the 8 dead cards, I have 12 outs on the turn and river. Terrible. I cant remember the last time I got a pair or two pair to hold up.

Almost break time. I have almost slid to even for the month. If I dont turn around soon, I will be taking a leave of abscence.

so before I fade into oblivion, I have a story to relate.

I had a really nice Mongoose full suspension mountain bike that I left in Brooklyn when I moved. One of my roommates promised to send it to me.

Before said sending could happen, another of my roommates (who had only lived there a month while i was there) "borrowed" (without telling me) the bike and left it at the resteraunt where she worked in the city for a week. Needless to say, it disappeared.

Once she got around to telling me she had stolen my bike, I went to the local bike shop and found an equivalent bike, which I purchased. Once I told her the price, she informed me that I was a (&$(*&$#)# lawyer trying to screw her out of some money and that my previous bike was a walmart special.

Suffice it to say I was not happy, moreso about the questioning of my integrity than about the money I stood to lose on buying a new bike.

I calmly infromed her of the situation and of the fact that I did not particluarly care for her assesment of my actions. I then informed her that, ultimately, I was the one who had to live with the consequences, seeing as if she did not repay me I still had to cover the cost of replacing the bike and whatnot.

Im more upset about the fact that she believes, apparently based on the fact that I am a lawyer, that I am out to fuck her out of some money than anything else. My master plan to leave my bike all the way across the country, so she could steal and lose it, so I could buy a better bike that she would have to pay for, seems to be working.

Ugh. Apparently the price of integrity is being screwed over by people that you trust.
