Two of the guys to my left are really playing aggressive, horrible poker. The first villian two to my left is just raising with anything, the guy next to him(Villain #2) is reraising the first sap

I have [8c] [8s] UTG +1. I limped in(decided to do this because they were doing the raising for me. Villian #1 raises, Villian #2 reraises. I call both bets, and Villian #1 caps the action. Only the three of us see the flop.

Flop is [Qd] [4s] [Qc] . I checked, and Villain #1 bet. Villain #2 raises again, and I Cr'ed three bet.

Thoughts?

I dont mind this at all really... if theyre playin like you say they are then you probly have best hand. However, if there continues to be heavy action on the more expensive streets then you probably have to laydown your hand....It wouldnt be the first time A maniac caught a QQ4 flop with Q6o. I would play your 88 aggressively, and if you get raised on the turn, i would probably muck the hand, especially if maniac number 2 overcalls.

You gotta watch guys like this though, because there is a chance they arent completely donking off thier chips, like kuso implied- whenever i sit live at a game thats 6/12 and under, i do this sort of shit all the time, but i actually do think about what im doing, it just doesnt seem like that because i will raise like any suited 2-3 gappers from position, and overplay every draw, and shit like that. Basically, ya gotta figure out if these guys have some sanity, or if they would put in a turn raise against you with 52o in that spot.

If they are the latter, then you kinda gotta go into calldown mode against them, as much as that sucks because there is literally no way to know what they have. Playin against mizors like this makes me feel weak/tight, and its kindof annoying, but youll beatem in the end if you run even averagely. But if they have some sanity and they start going crazy on the turn, id lay the hand.

i like how you played the hand so far but am a bit curious what happened on later streets.

Yeah, one of them had some sanity and either mentioned to someone that he made a bluff bet after he saw the look on his opponents face. That was villain #2.

Villain #1 called the raise and reraise, and Villain #2 mucked to my raise even after raising the flop. #2 had some sanity, and noticed I wasn't doing anything stupid, and my CR 3-bet showed the strength I wanted it to.

Turn was [6c] . I bet and villain #1 called.

River was [2d] . I bet and villain called. (Value town!)

Villain #1 had [5h] [Kc] .

This is how bad Villain #1 played, but I wasn't completely sure until this hand was over. I'm sure Villain#2 had him beat easily, dominated probably, but getting him out of the hand so I could go heads-up with Villain #1 seemed optimal. And at the time this seemed like the best way.

If Villain #2 had gone crazy on the turn, I would have mucked the hand, but if Villain#1 had raised the turn, I would be hard pressed to let it go still because of previous action.

Villain #1 later called down all streets against the only female at the table who was on the button with his Jack high. She lost because of she only had ten high. At the time, I was 50/50 on the fact that she might have been value betting there.

So, the play worked right this time, but I don't think this is a club I will take out of my bag very often, only in a few circumstances.
