Well, let me start off by saying that I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter today. Mine was pretty "meh" right up until about 20 minutes before I quit playing. More on that in a bit.
Played a bit more PL 5 Card Draw today and while I lost money doing it again, I did make a decent amount of progress in my understanding of that game I think. And that would seem to be born out by the much lower loss from that game today as compared to the last couple days. I finally realized a major leak that I had and since I plugged it, I actually won money. Too bad I was in the hole up to that point as I never quite got all the way out before I had to leave for Easter Dinner at the inlaws. But I would have I'm sure of it. And that's a nice sign of progress to me.
I played in a freeroll tourney at Paradise tonight that I had gained entry to by depositing $50 into my account. The top 100 finishers got a seat in next weeks final. The prize for the top 9 finishers in that tourney is that they get to be in a movie with Burt Reynolds called "Deal". So anyway, when we hit the 100 mark, I was safely in about 30th position and, hopefully, I get to be in a movie sometime in the near future. Longshot I guess, but hey, you never know right?
Played a bunch today but wasn't really doing all that great until after the tourney. That's when I decided to do some NL100 4 tabling at Paradise. Made up for all my earlier losses and also a nice tidy profit for the day. Most of it came on this hand:

I don't know why the converter doesn't show what he had but it was a pair of 2's for bottom set against my 4's for top set on the flop. Of course they both turned into boats and I kinda started crappin my pants when he raised me to $60 on the river. I woulda gone ballistic if he had turned over K2 or somethin stupid like that. I'm almost positive that the BB who folded the river probably had to cut off his hand to keep from calling that bet as just 6 hands earlier this had happened and I'm sure he wanted to look me up: (I used the bison bison converter for this one)
