Ah hell, that didn't help much.

And I have to get going, but the win rate is 5 BB/10,000 hands. And the last 8K have been in excess of 6BB.

I'll post more stats later, I don't use Jim Rose or Iceman's strategy. I tried both and found them to be relatively break even, with a slight upward drift.

My win rates started taking off when I changed my overal philosophy towards shortstack play.

I'm moving up in stakes now, Geo, I'll have some solid numbers for you by the end of the month.

FWIW: VPIP: 10%
PFR: 5%

It still ammuses me that people go out of their way to go up against the short stack who more times than not has them beat. lol

It's because of two perfectly rational reasons.

1. is that most short stacks are muppets and easy to take money from (overall it's +EV to assume a short stack is a muppet and act accordingly unlesss and until a particular short stack proves different)

2. most big stacks find a short stack (esp a donk push one with position on them) is a real irritant with little upside - they willoften try to take a 'gambool' to get rid and hopefully have the short stack replaced with a full stacked (and hopefully bad) player.

So yes a short stack played properly will make money at most FR tables. But to be honest there are few good short stackers around (at least up to $200) and if you have the discipline to play to a solid system and to follow the advice for post-flop play in the Little Green Book - you can beat those tables for great PTBB/100 anyway..

If I'm playing short stacked the way you are experimenting with Ice, I'm not playing flops unless I'm in the blind or trying to flop a set with position and lots of limpers. I agree with the reputation that short stacks have though. I love playing short stacked when I'm just trying to clear a bonus and am too tired to think much. :)

How do you feel about raising all in in late position with a low pocket pair with the intention of showing to an overly tight table who respects your all-in's too much? Only for advertisement and only when necessary to loosen up the table so you get called more by lesser hands.

Also, when there is a raise in front of you, do you only push all in with AA and KK or do you include AK or QQ?

Also, how do I determine what my PTBB/100 is? I don't see this statistic in poker tracker. Can you show me a screen shot of it or something?

When moving up in levels I followed pretty much the 20 buy-in bankroll management rule. However, I don't know if this is really neccessary when playing a shortstack strategy because the SD should be lower than when buying-in for full.
With a full buy-in strategy I need around $2500 to play $100 NL, when I buy-in only for 25 BB do I need only $625 to be relatively safe?

Probably not as you are putting your stack on the line so much more often playing short stack strategy - my guess is you should probably have at least 40x short stack buy-ins (ie 10 full buy-ins)
