Obviously, I played this pretty bad. I was hoping SOMEONE would bet on the river. With three people following along, I figured someone would have a baby flush, or at least two pair or even a made straight. Well, it looks like they all were drawing to the flush.

I should have definately raised some on the turn.

What would have been the right play here?

I think you had a couple of busted draws out there, but it really hurts not to get anything out of quads. I think you have to bet the most amount that you think will get called or even raised. I think $300 may get called, but $200 is more likely to get raised. After the $40 turn bets you should guess that nobody had any real strength and they probably weren't going to make a large bet on the river. I always laugh when someone calls a decent sized bet, but then leads out for a fraction of that bet on the next card. I don't know what they think they are accomplishing.

Okay, I may well be full of it because I don't like to play speed SnGs, but don't you want to be re-raising on the flop to push out the draws? I don't mind leading on the flop, although I would prefer to bet 2/3 to full pot, but you want to know if someone has flopped the flush and with a raise and two callers what do you know? What is wrong with re-raising to 600-800 on the flop and make them decide?

If not on the flop, then with those weak bets on the turn you have got to check raise. UTG+1 is the only one saying he has a made hand and he doesn't seem too proud of it. It seems to me that a speed trny forces you to be aggressive, not playing a set passively. Yes, someone may have flopped a flush - but don't you want to find that out as early as possible?
