$10 on UB. 7 people left, average stack=T1400, big stack=T2000, short stack=T700.
Blinds are at 100/200. Your stack is about average, T1300.

Most people seem to play reasonably careful. The big stack is in the SB; BB has average stack.
Your read on them is that they are aggressive with big aces and decent pocket pairs, but not willing to gamble with small PP's. SB has once shown that he can lay down an overpair against heavy action. The shortstack is in LP and makes loose calls every now and then.

You are UTG+1 with 99. UTG folds. What do you consider/do?

Bet T500 hoping to steal the blinds. After the flop bet out if last to act and nothing scary hits the board.

If re-raised then you have to think about letting it go but remember the blinds are coming for T300 more of your stack.

If I ain't sinkin', well I must be swimin' If I ain't dead, I must be livin' Livin' is the thing, that scares me the most And if I ain't sleepin', well I better be fishin' If I ain't anchored I will be driftin' But all and all, I'm doing pretty good, since I hit my third coast!

UTG + 1 with UTG folding, is a good place to be after the flop...you have right of first bluff or semi bluff...if only ONE face hits, not an A, i'd go all in...this is probably being heads up...

Others may disagree, but an all in preflop, i don't think would be too bad here either, you'll probably take down the blinds or double up...plus give yourself a bit of a wild image and people won't try to steal YOUR blinds, thinking you have no problem going all in.
