OK so I just won a satellite to this MTT (came top 4 out of 92 players in a $5 R&A satellite - spent $20 to win the $200 seat).

The tourney is $200 R&A (the rebuys and add-ons are a little rich for my blood but I guess that means a lot of rich folks gambling it up in the first hour and me sitting waiting for AA ).

Anyone know just how huge the prize pool gets for these and can anyone offer any advice - I don't think I've ever played an MTT worth more than £25 or so..

Wow - with 8 days to go there are already 650 registered - working off the assumption that R&A's multiply the prize pool by about 2-3 times - this thing is going to have a pool of $750k+



Should I try to win another place in the $5R&A's? would that give me a free rebuy or the cash for one do you think?

I got QQ UTG +1 - raised to 3xbb and my internet connection failed!!

At 5th break - 94/178 left
top 110 pay..

94th would be worth $550.


Doubling up would see me to go up to about 20th (finishing 20th is worth $3k).

Maths seem to indicate I should be chasing coin-flips ...
