Random observation of the day:

A lot of plo8 players have some idea about how to manage the upside potential of their hands, but it seems like they have no clue about how to manage the downside potential. Players end up putting a lot of money in the pot (usually on the turn) with a decent hand when they are most likely going to have to fold on the river or cross their fingers and pray if they call a big river bet.

I'm really glad to have these players at my table, but it's a MASSIVE leak that I see often.

BAH!!!

i didn't get as many hands as i wanted in at the 200s this weekend. i've got a paper coming up that really needed a lot of work. i did do some serious multitabling "off project" (i.e., not at the 200s) to work off some of the bonuses. i have about two days to clear 700 more hands for the second bonus, so i might have to do that again.

I seems rocky, but I'm not really that bad, just have been kinda card dead. Fewer bad players than at the $100s, but not that much different (so far).

Halfway to the $400s already.

FWIW, I am still at 10.3 ptbb/100 at the $100 tables after 8,000+ hands.

So what's happened with this? Anybody making recent progress?
