I played some $50 NLO8 tables last night on stars; very juicy games. Now my questions. What hands do I want to go allin with preflop? What hands would I call an allin from another player with preflop? I notice that various people move in with any AA hand or any A with two wheel cards. I've seen people calling preflop allins with A347 and hands like that. And it doesn't go raise-reraise-allin; no, it's limp-push allin, call allin.
I sense that there is some good money to be made here . The only problem postflop I have is deciding on the proper betting amount. It happened three times that I flopped the nut boat but made no money because of the low draws or runner-runner low draws. If I have KK and the flop is K66, should I overbet to make an A23-type hand pay dearly for the backdoor? It seems that many opponents are willing to make speculative calls on flops , improve on the turn and then end up with half of the pot, whereas you really don't want them to get away with that...
Sorry for rambling, it was a weird experience!
