Put in about 3 hours at the tables for my night time session. Was fairly bland. Was up 60 at one point, then down 10, and finished up about 30. Winrate is around 17.5PTBB/100 so that'll go down a little bit I bet, though hopefully not too much since I'm only 2-tabling. My vpip is like 10.5 so I need to start playing a few more hands I guess, though probably not too much cause imo, they pay off just fine even with my rock-like stats. I'm only about halfway through my first 100 bonus. Might add a table soon just to clear that faster.

Well I said this was gonna also be a personal journal for me so we'll start off with a brief introduction to the life of me.

I graduated highschool about a month ago, have been playing poker for about 4 years. Have won a good ammount of tournaments since then, always staked, but never really planned on building a roll. I play guitar a lot, both electric and classical. I'm a bit of metal head but listen to a lot of other stuff, like 90's alternative, ska, classical, and some occasional blues.

My plan up until a few months ago was to go to the local college (UNCG) and study classical guitar. But sadly there was only one spot in the entire guitar program and that went to a transfer student. I just got my letter today confirming that I got into appalachian state university. My parents and guitar teacher are strongly pushing that I go there. I really didn't like it up there when I went to the guitar festival, but oh well. As it is I'm probably going to go there for a semester/year and try to get a transfer to a better school. I'm going to need at least some poker money to be able to afford some of the schools I'm thinking of (florida state and furman in partictular). I got into berklee school of music but can't even begin to pay for that, lol.

It's nearly impossible to get a job around here with no experience so I'm going to be playing poker for spending money in college. I don't really plan on withdrawing much, maybe 2-300 a month tops. If I ever get to the point where I can make over 100k a year I will probably drop out of college after that semester.College really isn't for me. I hated school very much. I just wanna play music

If none of this works out I will probably join the Air Force for a few years... not really sure why. Probably for a big bankroll more than anything

If I can afford it by next summer, I would like to play in a EPT event. My forte is tournaments and I honestly believe that I would be equal to even some of the best tournament players.

I'm in a very crappy band right now which consists of me and one of my best friends. We aren't really that crappy, we have some songs that I believe are GREAT, and I'm extremely critical. We just can't seem to catch a break in regards to finding members.

My social life is pretty non-existant right now, other than the occasional show. I really find NO interest in anything non poker or music. And none of my friends play poker
Hopefully college will help me find people more like me in that regard.

I'm semi-buddhist. I believe in Kharma, and I meditate daily. The whole reincarnation thing is a bit difficult for me to get into, but there are actually tons of documented cases where a kid remembers in perfect detail who they were in a previous life and how they died, and then turn out to be correct. Parapsychology is pretty cool with stuff like that.

Well they offer pretty decent scholarships to the top % of people applying. It also depends a lot on your field though. There's already a billion metal guitarists there, they have no need for more

Blah, this is gonna put a bit of a slowdown to this. I'm gonna have to talk to my staker about moving sites. I think I've already said that the site I'm using refuses to work on my current computer, so I've been using my brother's computer which is downstairs in the living room.

Well, first a little background info on my brother. He's an incredible poker player... live. He taught me about everything I know and has won tons of money when he used to play in AC. Online though... I would probably put him on my buddy list. I don't really know what makes him so crappy online, but he is definately a losing player over many many hands. He moved back in temporarily and is doing one of those computer training programs or something.

So basically, being the idiot he is, he deposited into pokerstars for quite a bit of money with no money in his bank or what not. Apparrently that's fraud . He's broke, though, more or less. So they called up today and my parents found out that he has like a week to come up with the money or charges are gonna be brought up against him. Now my parents hate poker, they tell me it's a "Game of chance" and everything. I don't really argue cause there's no point.

Anyway, if anyone is seen playing poker on that computer, he's gonna get kicked out, so I really have no option other than to move sites or end the deal, which I really don't want to do as it's going very well and it's only been a few days.
