Rent..well I can't find anything even half-decent for under $250, there are a few semi-nice places in the $250 - $350 range but their location and crap isn't where i'd like to be, and i'd rather pay an extra $200 - $400/mth for a nice place than be living somewhere I don't like all that much..

As far as utilites goes I just plucked that number out of random as I have no idea whether or not that's what it really is, i'll shave it down to $100/mth and reduce my food to $250/mth, also I think my phone $/mth number is too high so i'm ducking that down to $50, too...

Yes, my god...>1k/month for rent? Yikes man...that's a palace for a bachelor...I'd wait till you have more solid months and a huge nut set aside for moving out if you plan to live it up THAT much.

Yeah i'm not planning on moving out tomorrow or anything, i'll want 6 months of winning $5k+ before i move out, that itself should give me a $20k - $30k net which i think is about what i need. I read a nice article by ATE () about going pro and he recommended 9 months of 20hours per week of winning, i figure since i'm playing 30-40 hours a week, 6 months should be a big enough representative sample..

In other news, i'm seriously contemplating either quitting college or switching to some easy ass arts course, I have no interest in doing law anymore and this commerce degree i'm doing isn't really leading me somewhere i'd like to work in either. Of course i'm not gonna quit if i'm making $30/hr over 300 or so hours, but if i could say bump that up to $60/hr over a sample of 1000 hours then i'd be happy enough with that to call it quits and never look back.. I should write up some kind of goals list like runner runner discussing in his journal; i don't think aiming for $60/hr in 3 months time is too unreasonable given the rate i've been improving my winrate these past 2 months..
