Ok, I somewhat broke the schneid, then fell right back into it tonight. I won $299 in 45 hands Sunday night, then endured the following buy-in losers tonight:

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with [Ad], [Ac].
1 fold, Hero raises, MP1 calls, 5 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (6.40 SB) [7h], [8d], [7s] (3 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, MP1 folds, BB calls.

Turn: (5.20 BB) [Qd] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (11.20 BB) [Tc] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 13.20 BB

Results in white below:
BB has 7c 6d (three of a kind, sevens).
Hero has Ad Ac (two pair, aces and sevens).
Outcome: BB wins 13.20 BB.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [Ah], [Kc].
4 folds, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (5 SB) [Kd], [Th], [Jh] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) [9s] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6 (All-In), SB calls.

River: (4.70 BB) [6c] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: 4.70 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Qs 7s (straight, king high).
Hero has Ah Kc (one pair, kings).
Outcome: SB wins 4.70 BB.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with [Jc], [Ks].
Hero raises, 3 folds, MP3 calls, 4 folds.

Flop: (5.40 SB) [Qs], [2s], [Kh] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP3 calls.

Turn: (3.70 BB) [7d] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP3 raises, Hero calls.

River: (7.70 BB) [5d] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.70 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Jc Ks (one pair, kings).
MP3 has Kc Ah (one pair, kings).
Outcome: MP3 wins 9.70 BB.

It took me 43 hands to lose a buy-in...What hands did I play to lose $200? 99, AK, QQ, AA, KQ, T9s, A9s, and KJ. T9 and A9s were in the blinds...Ugh.

I'm also playing a 3/6 table and am staying even there, but damn--if it's not people making stupid calls, it's people hitting miracle cards. Somebody also scooped me in PLO8 by calling my all-in with 256Qss against my A367ss--on an A-2-3-6 flop...yup, he hit his 4 and scooped with the wheel...

Thank baby jebus that the 5 billionth hand promotion is over at Stars. Now maybe the idiot dream chasers will go away and let me get back to pwning the 3/6 and 5/10. You know, like normal.

Lost another $109.50 yesterday playing LHE at Stars, but made up for it and THEN some at PokerRoom, where I'm playing $50NL and $50PLO8 to clear some VPP bonus and some other crap:

Exhibit 1: Gruesome luck here. BB was a textbook calling station (33/2/0.68), and thought it was good to call 2 cold pre-flop with KJ and 2 more cold on the flop with a gutshot. Then he had the balls to hit it.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (7 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with [Ts], [Tc].
Hero raises, 4 folds, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (9 SB) [2h], [Td], [9d] (3 players)
SB bets, BB calls, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero caps, SB calls, BB calls.

Turn: (10.50 BB) [Qh] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls.

River: (13.50 BB) [8h] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB folds.

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

Results in white below:
BB has Jc Kh (straight, king high).
Hero has Ts Tc (three of a kind, tens).
Outcome: BB wins 15.50 BB.

Exhibit 2:
Bad luck here, my gin card was his gin card.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [9c], [9s].
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 6 folds, Hero calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) [7h], [Jd], [8s] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (5 BB) [9h] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls.

River: (9 BB) [2h] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 11 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has 9c 9s (three of a kind, nines).
UTG+1 has Th Ac (straight, jack high).
Outcome: UTG+1 wins 11 BB.

Exhibit 3: He could easily have been bluffing the flush here, so I couldn't get away from my cowboys, especially with outs to a boat out there, even if it was only 4 outs.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Kd], [Kc].
UTG calls, 5 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG calls, CO calls.

Flop: (8 SB) [8c], [4h], [8h] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, CO calls.

Turn: (10 BB) [Qh] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG folds, CO folds, Hero calls.

River: (12 BB) [Ts] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Kd Kc (two pair, kings and eights).
BB has 6h Jh (flush, queen high).
Outcome: BB wins 14 BB.

Same monkey from Hand #1. Tried taking a trip to Value Town here, but Mr. Any Ace, Any Place couldn't lay down his A and hits his 6-outer on the river.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [4h], [4d].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, Hero calls, 3 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (4.33 SB) [2c], [3d], [Qh] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (5.16 BB) [7s] (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls.

River: (7.16 BB) [Ah] (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 9.16 BB

Results in white below:
MP1 has Ad 9h (one pair, aces).
Hero has 4h 4d (one pair, fours).
Outcome: MP1 wins 9.16 BB.

Same monkey AGAIN. This is why I don't win at Party. I can't seem to lay off the accelerator because in MY MIND, a rational person doesn't call down with a pair of 3s in this situation.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is Button with [Ah], [Ks].
4 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, CO calls.

Flop: (5.33 SB) [3s], [Qd], [7s] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: (3.66 BB) [Qh] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets, CO calls.

River: (5.66 BB) [4d] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 5.66 BB

Results in white below:
CO has 3c Kc (two pair, queens and threes).
Hero has Ah Ks (one pair, queens).
Outcome: CO wins 5.66 BB.

So that ended up with me losing >$100 chasing these assinine milestone hands. Of course, the tables that are winning are the 0.05/0.10 LHE tables with 45 person waiting lists, or the 6-max tables that are paying blinds and just folding around. Maybe now that the jackasses are gone--far worse than the bonus whores, IMHO--the play will return to semi-normal.

As for PokerRoom? Heh. I deposited $300 to take advantage of a bonus and to work off the Vegas Poker Pro VPP points special, and I've doubled it up since Friday, withdrawn my original stake, and added $100 to it already:

Since I started keeping an NL Database at the $50s,

944 hands:
VP$IP: 19.39%, PFR: 12.08%, AF-Total: 4.58
Winnings: $404.20
WinRate: 42.82 PTBB/100

Heh. Soothes the sting from losing at Stars, doesn't it.

Playing PLO8?
96 hands
Winnings: $95.70, in 2h, 16m ($42.10/hr)

NL at PokerRoom?
634 hands
Winnings: $203.35 in 10h, 38m ($19.12/hr)

I'm debating writing articles about PokerTracker/PAHud, in terms of optimal strategy against each particular player type, and what stats to look for to identify that player.

With the scope of what I'm thinking, I almost think I should get paid for these articles, rather than just put them on my blog for the world to see for free (except for re-posts here on BTP, of course). I know the guys who wrote the PokerTrackerGuide (not excession's outstanding free articles, the paid one), and was considering talking to them about it.

Would anyone be interested in reading articles (a series of articles, specifically) like these?
