I played in PSO's PokerRewards Freeroll last night. $10,500 and only 75 people entered. Top 30 paid, with winner getting almost $2,000. One could probably fold into the money.
So, I am card dead, and then more card dead. I win one small pot with pocket Tens (My only pocket Pair of the whole MTT thus far). I win a blind vs blind pot with AK. My next best hand was A7s (in about 50 hands)
On to the hand. 50 minutes in, and blinds are 25/50. Table is playing really tight. Very few flops are seen. And not many showdowns.
I have about 1900 (starting chip stack is 2000) and I get in middle position and raise it up to 150 (3x BB). Only the BB calls (He has 1750).
Flop is
Pot is at 325, and BB leads out for 100. I just call, as that is an ugly flop for my TPTK.
Turn is . Pot is at 525
BB leads out for 200. I raise it up to 650. He goes all-in. It is 850 for me to call into a 2675 pot ( 3.14:1 )
There are so many hands that have me beat. But there are so many hands that he could have that I now beat (KJ, QJ, AQ, flush draw, etc...)
I have to fold this right? If I fold, I still have 1000 (blinds go up soon to 50/100).
What do you think? Make a crying call?
