After saying in my last post how NL and PL aren't my games, I'm up nearly $100 playing it in the last three days.

Funny thing is, I don't think I'm playing well (I don't even think I'm playing average); just taking advantage of the idiots, like the two in the following hand.

Question: I should have folded this preflop, right?

Other than the preflop call, how did I play this? Let me explain my reasoning for my actions on each street:

Preflop: I'm a sucker for KT s00ted.
Flop: Rainbow, I know I'm ahead; I don't want to push. I want the bluffers to bluff, so I just call.
Turn: HOT DAMN. I don't raise, because I want the other bluffer to call here. He does.
River: I know I've won, let's hope the bluffers bluff. They do.

Nice results, and you did play the hand well postflop.

But that was a bad call pre-flop, and I wouldn't make a habit of it. There are a couple problems with a pre-flop call.

1) You're likely holding a dominated hand to an EP raiser. If you're going to call an EP raise (without a premium hand) it should be with cards he likely does not hold, such as a pocket pair or a medium-low suited connector. You absolutely do not want to face a flop where you hit the same top pair as the raiser.

2) You're in MP. If a player behind you wakes up with a big hand, then you're going to face a re-raise and possibly another re-raise or all-in by the original raiser. You can't call these bets, and having to fold hands where you called a pre-flop raise will cost you a lot of money.
