I was on monkey tilt when this hand went down but it's still interesting... Beachlasse is very strong player, c-bets frequently, tough to narrow his range. tlkup4ml48 is also relatively strong but not particularly clever or anything. Curious how people would play this in stages.

Yeah, it's an interesting hand, but I'd fold and find a better spot.

hmmmm, (crappy flush draw + crappy pair + crappy straight draw + crappy low draw) still equals crap last i checked. fold the flop. oops, i forgot to add tilt to the equation. that cancels out "crappy" from the equation and you should check-raise the max.

i think this is an interesting hand, in that it's one that is often misplayed.

i think all three actions can be justified on the turn (in no particular order):

1) fold -- why put money in if you're likely playing for half (at best).

2) call -- you hand is good enough to show down, but a river flush card (that should be check-folded to) sucks.

3) raise -- make the jackball pay for his draws. you'd feel like a genius if a high non-club card came. i think this is mute's "usual" line, and i wonder why he didn't play it this way.

With position I could see calling or raising as becoming much more attractive.

OOP, you're drawing to a dodgy split against 97 (assuming the 97 can't improve the straight) as made hand unless your flush is good, which is awfully low to have any real confidence in with an LP caller.

Without position, I think you're likely going to end up risking too much on an iffy draw here.

I might also check-raise it OOP to these weak mini-bets that I've gotten accustomed to as meaning just some vague semblance of a hand from readable opponents at the $100 game, but that looks like a pottish bet, and surely that kind of nonsense slows down a lot at the $2000 level.
