I've been playing $5 NL on stars and have been playing fairly well. Should I play $10NL? I've noticed you have to pay rake much more often, is it worth it? All comments are welcome

^ What they said. If you can beat $2 NL, you can beat $10 NL.

Having just moved up to 10NL on party from the 5NL, I can say that I have not really noticed any difference in play.

You WILL notice a small difference once you move to 25NL. And another difference at 50NL. The difference is that at 25 NL only 3 or 4 players at your table suck instead of the 6 or 7 at your 10NL table.

The key to playing 10NL is finding the 2 or 3 decent players at your table and avoiding big pots with them unless you really have the goods. Play tight and you can't lose.

With that said, I had 3 players in the last 3 hours literally give me their stacks at 50NL...so you can find bad players everywhere. (one of these guys pushed a stone bluff for $40 into my flopped top set...despite the fact that I raised preflop)

FWIW - the $10 NL at UB is much much easier than the $25 NL there. Players at $25 NL will start playing back with nothing, and raising your CB's, not to mention not paying off as well. $10 is a great ground to practice being selective-aggressive...I was winning over 13 PTBB/100 before I left. Just play ABC and pick some good spots to come on strong (and I don't mean bluff off your stack either), and you'll do great.
