Hand #1

22 in LP. Person limps and loose player in MP raises 4x, we both call.

Flop A72 multi-cultural. EP player, whom i have 13 hands on, 1 of which he played, leads for 10$ Loose PF raiser folds. I bump to 30$. EP player thinks and repops to $100. For some reason I don't think this guy is repopping it with TPTK. We both started with $200. Smush?

Hand #2

[As] [Qs] OTB. I don't usually call raises with AQ. This time I did. GT isnt running yet. Cutoff bumps it 4x, I call behind, no one else calls. Flop is [Js] [Ts] [5h] He bets 12$ into 18$ and I bump it to 25$. He calls quickly. Turn is the [Ad] but he leads for $45. AK, AJ, AT, KQ, JJ, TT, AA all beat me. But I still have TPGK and two nut draws. Opponet has $107 behind at this point. I have him covered. Smush? Fold? Call and wait for the river?

hand 1 - squish...er..i mean smush. if he has 77 so be it. i am not good enough to pitch a set on a disconnected board like that.

hand 2 - smells like two pair (15 outs/2:1 dog) pot$113 math says call.
:!: corrections requested :!:

#1
Push. He may have 77 but he could just as well have A7 or A2 seeing how he's new at the table and you have no real read. He could also just have an Ace. It is so damn uncommon to see someone lead with a set, which is one of the reasons you pay them off when they do. Without a good read there's no way I fold this set here.

#2
Are you going to call another bet on the river if it bricks? If so, push. Otherwise call *if* you think he will pay you off when you hit.

HAND #1 I smushed and he had 77. Kicked myself for it. People don't usually lead out with sets, unless it's an ace high flop and someone else was the PF raiser.

HAND #2 I just called. River was a dud and I folded to his push.

waterboy! err, Iceman! How much would have flop raised hand #2?

Personally I am folding hand one, though to be honest I'm probably not even in the hand with 22-44. Is he really in a raised pot with ace rag? for me it is AA or 77, and I don't like bottom set when someone new to the table is getting fruity.

Hand two I just push the turn.
