Currently, in my 6 max games, I play Axs from any position (unless the table is overly aggressive). After 25K hands in my latest database, Im winning money with every suited ace. Based on that fact, should I start playing Kxs from any position?

It will increase my VIP, maybe get me a bit more action if I dont look so tight (although Im having no problem in that area).

Do you think I can play Kxs profitably from anywhere if I play it just like Axs?

I dont have the numbers to back this up - but I would venture to guess that if you add Kxs to your range from all positions, your image will be significantly worse and you should be prepared for the effect that this has on your game - i.e. more callers, less fold equity, etc.

As for Kxs being profitable in a vacuum - I don't know. The thing about Axs is that when you make 2-pair, you can often be against an overplayed AK/AQ - the same isnt really as true of Kxs - ppl tend to play paired kings more passively than paired aces. Also, you lose wheel possibilities with Kxs and open up the slight chance of flush over flush or even counterfieted 2-pair (not as likely with Ax). It's close, as I think the scenarios I described are unlikely, however, I don't thing the profit margin on Axs is huge to begin with. I think image is your main concern here.

I pretty much agree with Droqqa and I voted no. At least no for the K2s of the world from EP.

I voted no as well. K2 from UTG is junk. However, I think K9s+ could be OK anywhere for a good player. Save the lower Ks for the button.

One thing to think about is playability. I would rather play J9s than K5s. For this reason, I wonder if Kxs are the right hands to be adding. Maybe there are other more playable hands to add? I assume you are already playing your suited connectors. Add in selected 1 and 2 gappers. If you are not already, I would recommend playing your decent unsuited connectors (JT, T9, 98, 87, 76, 65) in position. Not that you don't know this already, but remember that suitedness is only a small part of the value of a hand.

This post is interesting...I like it for the fact that you can tell you are really trying to add layers to your game that most of us don't think about.

I voted no a little while ago, but I'm guessing in certain situations against the right field, you can pretty much decide now when to play 85o from any position.
