Don't sweat it.

I am trying not too...but the past four days have had a major downswing for me at 10NL...I just need to win a couple of nice pots to get my confidence up. I am not on tilt yet, but it may be approaching, just got to keep trying to get my money in with the best (although that did not happen this time.) Thanks for the encouragement!

Losing a fh to quads is nothing to feel bad about. Never fold your FH here, you will win MUCH more often than not.

You have done nothing wrong there, you made the second nut hand on the turn and the only hand you could possibly be scared about is TT for a higher FH, that is sooo unlikely and quads is even more unlikely that you should always call this, otherwise there is no point in playing small pairs for set value.

Most of the time they have been 'smart' and slow played something like A3.....

Now, a really bad play would have been donking off your stack with 88 alone if the turn had of been a blank under card and the other guy was still keen to be giving you action..... which is exactly what I managed to do 3 times yesterday with TT, QQ and 99....

so just chill and keep playing your game

I lose my stack there every time. EVERY time.

Especially because the opponent was in the big blind and could easily have had 63 83 or T3. Gotta play for it all there.
