Checked to me, I bet $140 into the preflop raiser. Preflop raiser calls. MP comes out of nowhere and check raises to $400. I don't have a particular read on this player but he started w/ a full stack.

hmmm.. I call hoping the button will come along with an overpair. He does call.

MP pushes in for his last $500. It covers the button and almost me. Looks like quads or the set of 7's/

500$ for 1940$? No one in the world folds here. He could have a grossly overplayed big pair or even [6h]. You called on the flop to fill up and you accomplished that. Although obviously you'd rather fill up with a 7 than a 2. Still you gotta smush it I'll assume that you did just that, and lost. Cooler.

i don't know much about 1000nl, but everytime i rail those games, people are taking down huge puts with really shitty holdings like 2nd pair no kicker.

I know what yer driving at in this hand, a lot of strength from *not* the OR which indicates a big hand. So you think ok most likely either the higher or lower set then turn makes quads for the lower set and yer beat by what you feel are the two most likely hands. Fair enough. But there are plently of draws 56h, 35h, A4h, overs with hearts, stangely played overpair, 42s for a lower boat etc...

I think you can *maybe* fold here if the stack sizes were huge and you had a very solid read, but certainly not in this spot.

Was MP playing with his hand faceup? Did the call button disappear from your display? Did you have a seizure or a muscle spasm which made you accidentally click the fold button?

I like Droq's line of pushing the flop after the CR.
