I don't know hoiw you guys do it. You play multiple tables, different games at different limits and you can switch from one mentality to the other. You must be a lot briter than me.

Check out this hand for me. I believe that I did not think before betting the reraise. My limit habits wanted to know where I was wiht top pair and good kicker. I didn't put him on a big pair, AJ, or flush top pair with a backdoor flush draw. I was sure he was betting an open end str8 draw or had a set.. Certainly he would have bet with an overpair.

The problem wa that I was thinking Limit and was playing No Limit. The increment that I had to put in the pot actually POT COMMITED ME. I did not think. It was a reflex to find out where my hand was. BIG MISTAKE.

Take a look at the hand and let me know what you think. WOuld you have thought this player was slow playing Ace from the BB? I have a note on that player now. This was a $15 + $1 Single Table SNG Turbo on Pokerstars.

I don't like the limp in with KJ, the blinds are 50-100, you only have 1400 chips or 14xbb, you can't really throw away 100 chips taking a peak at the flop, I would raise that in late position as you are.

As you played the hand, it is quite difficult to get away from, JLO71704 could easily be betting with a weak jack out of the big blind and mjegy could have anything after completing the SB... two pair looks the most likely to me.

Either way after your min raise on the flop it is nearly impossible to fold with your chipstack, a raise preflop gets a reaction from mjegy's AA and you can get away from your hand or atleast play it a lot more carefully.

No way I can put this guy on AA, but when he wont go away I am praying for another J or K to hit the board, and really once you have 50% of your chips in you cannot fold.

I highly recommend you start reading some books on NL tourney play. Buy both volume 1 and volume 2 of Harrington's books and you'll improve DRAMATICALLY. I see a lot of inexperienced errors you're making in these hands you're posting.

It's been folded around to you in late position and you have KJs, RAISE! You only have 14x BB, and the blinds will help your stack even if they both fold. If they don't, you have a hand worth playing.

Never min-raise, never, never, never. Get it out of your system and your arsenal. You will do much better by NEVER min-raising than doing it even only occasionally.

When he 3-bets you on that flop, you have to fold. You are behind here nearly 100% of the time.
