Personally I bet on the flop. I never check two pair because if he has just K8 or something he has 5 outs that cause me a lot of pain.

So instead of checking, I bet .2, and then I bet the turn...about 3/4 pot at least. Then I probably check the river with the straight and call behind his bluff at it.

So my way doesn't make you much money. Unless he raises on the flop, which is what you are looking for. Say he had KQ. By just calling you have him trying to keep you in the hand, so he won't over bet. He's just got half a stack, so getting all in here is probably a good idea if possible. If you bet and he has a Q, he's not going to fold, and he might raise.

By waiting until the river when the heart comes you do two things...you ensure that only a guy with a flush will call you...and you kill your own action because the flush hit. This is a hand that plays great on the flop, but gets harder and harder to play as the hand goes on.

It's possible he had nothing and you got the max from it...but you'll never know if you don't bet it.

Weak, even I am not check calling both the flop and turn with two pair, it is a strong hand but a really vulnerable hand too, bet the pot on the turn, he could be on a draw for all you know, and once a flush hits you wont get paid anyway..... and your bet on the end is way too big, it looks like you made the flush, bet something like .50 to make him interested enough to call.
