hi all, here is a hand i played a couple of weeks back. mirek, my opponent in this particular pot, had lost a couple of buy-ins and was playing pretty wildly. raising preflop with rubbish and generally trying to run over the table.

i should mention i was steaming a little bit as well. though i was up quite nicely in this game, i'd lost a few buy-ins the day before. i wasn't happy to see the jack, which could have completed a straight for mirek. could i have got away from this more cheaply? jack-seven wasn't really a hand i put him on. if i'd checked the turn he would have bet, and i would have had a hard time laying my 2-pair down against someone like him.
the flop was obviously a good one for me. 2-pairs with two lowish cards like 7 and 8 are easily outdrawn i think. anyone with any thoughts?
