I am the last person who should give any advice here, since my playing poker was the last straw in ending my last relationship but here's my take anyways. Most of the reason the wives/ girlfriends dont like us playing poker is it takes away time that they want us to spend with them/family. So instead of giving them a portion of your winnings for her to do whatever with why not spend that portion on something that you both enjoy, buy a new TV, stereo for the house, take her out somewhere. I know Ice use's his winnings take his family on Vacation, kind of hard for Mrs. Iceman to complain about him playing poker when they are in Hawaii, paid for by poker. Again not that this worked for me, my ex could have been in Hawaii and still told me to quit while I was ahead but hopefully everyone else chose more rational woman than I did.
