My last gf of one year actually told me she was jelous, because she'd get in from working behind a bar all night and see me sat at the pc and watching telly whilst earning my money.

I cashed out my whole roll to go on holiday with her, but then she dumped me at Gatwick Airport and ran off the plane just before take-off. Yes, fking nuts.. we held up the whole plane for a while then I decided I was gonna go on holiday on my lonesome anyway. Lonesome, Double Bed, Rum, Kavos, 2 weeks getting over gf = GOOD TIMES!

I am the luckiest guy on this forum. I stay home and take care of my daughter, my wife goes out to work. She comes home, and we play poker together. Not only does she support me, she takes an active role in where I play, what games, when to move up in limits, etc.

She gives me shit if I play below my roll, if I make a donk play, etc. She has hustled dinner for us by playing poker before. I check raised her in a B&M on our anniversary and she did not get too upset.

I gots me a keeper.

i'm about ready to join the club (will be married in december). Ever since we moved in together in January the accepting of poker has gone downhill, but thats also the same time it became my job to get me through school. She gets mad about taxes and when i get angry after suckouts, but is supportive about playing and we have talked about setting up an account for her to get the bonuses so I guess I'm somewhere in the middle.

Yeah Stoney, I take your point about Sweden being different... but sitting around naked with your own family is hard for non Scandis to comprehend.

I'm no naturist, but don't really have an issue with my kids seeing me naked - you can forget your privacy - whether you're in toilet, shower, or bed - your toddler will happily wander in and interrupt...

as for sharing money - we've always had a joint account that all my salary goes into and post-kids I hardly ever buy anything for myself anyway- poker just enables me to buy 'toys' like computers, sat nav and Digital SLR's without it coming out of the joint account ..
