#1) I limp 99 UTG, 2 limpers and then the BB raises to $8. We all call.

Pot $32. Flop [9s][7s]. BB bets $16 ($85 left). Guys behind me have $170 and $200. I raise all in to $200....Thoughts?

Pot $25. Turn . BB checks, I bet 414, button calls. BB folds.
Pot $53. River . I check looking to check raise all in. Likey?

1) Love it. A spade kills your action. Stack sizes say you can't fold and the pot was raised pf.

2) A read would be nice here. Is he tight or loose? I probably still bet the flop 1/2 pot. A flush draw is calling. As played I don't mind the check raise allin on the river.

on hand 2 shouldn't we lead this river as a check behind makes us die? Maybe even flat push?

2) I would normally fire a 2/3 pot bet. I think villain is very likely to have an Ace with decent kicker, If this is the case he will probably call your riverbet, but good palyers check the river most of the tiime if checked to.

Lots of players also raise a riverbet there with the "nut flush", so you might be able to get all his money anyway if they have the flush.

Didn't see the last reply befor posting. If your read on him tells you he bets the river with the A it's hard not to like your check:D

Hand #1) It folded back to the BB who had [Ts] and called obviously. The board didnt pair. Who raises limpers from the BB with QTs? UGH!!!

Hand #1 I think is probably the only way to play it. JJ is unlikely from the people behind you due to lack of raise and I don't care what BB has (although QTs is just disgusting, hope you robbed him later).

Hand #2 I *never* do this because I'm always too worried they will check behind. However I think you're play is spot on because when he bets he won't get away from it as easily and you can stack him when he has the flush. Will he call with just an Ace though?

I agree with Droqqa 100%. What hand do you expect to call here that doesn't beat you? 2 pair looks highly unlikely, especially given that you have two of the 9s. TPTK is probly not gonna call unless they are terrible or have a spade redraw. I'd throw in a big raise, but not move in.
