I understand where you are coming from; the most enjoyable poker for me is when I'm splashing around making plays. I also want to play the most profitable poker that I can, and at the buy-in level that I play robotic poker appears to be the safest way to make a profit.

You can play 5 tables and sLAG the whole way NOT playing ABC poker. That's a fact...whether you can go higher I don't know...but I wouldn't say it's impossible by any means. It takes a long time to be able to do that - in terms of hands perhaps...or just a lot of skill. It's not easy, so most don't try it. Most aren't comfortable putting aside a portion of their roll as "education" fees and just jumping in and trying. Odds are you'll fail the first couple tries, but you'll learn from each one and eventually be able to do it and the "fees" will have been worth it.

Personally, I don't care for doing this at the moment because I need a very steady income from poker. So, I've developed my little "system" and don't really need to analyze it any more. I just play play play and don't really need to think much more. Sure it's stunting my "game" but improving my game is VERY low on my list of poker priorities right now...perhaps the bottom. Where I let my "game" come out is in B&R where I get to play sLAG and perfect strategy AND use my skills in reading people. But I only do that rarely as a "treat" for grinding it out all month online with my low variance grinding strategy.
