I made a mistake by not betting the turn, but it made the river push soooo much sweeter!!!!

I think you made a mistake not betting this flop. Putting some money in there with the flush draw and possibility that someone has a King or Ace and will likely be calling down at least seems better than checking the whole time. Most of the time your checks on the turn and river end up being a pot sized bet on the river that might be called ending in a small pot for you.

Bet and make the pot bigger.
