This is a recent Party NL50 6-max hand I played versus a LAG. He was very aggressive in weird situations. i.e. He made outsized (triple the pot) bets with very strong hands and on total bluffs. Any suggestions as to my play are appreciated. I'll post the results later.

1 fold, MP calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, SB (poster) calls $1.75, 1 fold, MP calls $1.50.

SB bets $0.5, MP calls $0.50, Hero raises to $5, SB calls $4.50, MP folds.

Turn: ($17) (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $10, SB calls $10.

River: ($37) (2 players)
SB bets $20, Hero calls $20.

Final Pot: $77

This hand is really too read dependant to give a good answer. LAGs can have just about anything and you really need to be sitting at the table with them for a while to get any read at all.

In general, I would probably check behind at the turn and try to keep the pot small.

I prefet to sit back and wait for a monster before playing a big pot since I cant read a LAGs hand well.

Check behind on the turn and make a value bet on river or call any reasonable bet. I don't like putting money in voluntarily with one pair when the other player has already called big bets and I have the option of checking and keeping the pot small.

I definitally agree that minimizing your monetary risk as the level of uncertainty rises in the hand. Some times for me that means laying down what might be the winner, but often times it saves me a bundle. Other times it just means not putting much more cash into the pot or hoping it'll get checked down.

I laid down KQ just the other day in a big pot after the opponent called a fairly big bet after the flop and then jammed it on the turn after I checked it to him. Since there was a short stack all-in already I was able to see his hand at the end and I would have won. He jammed it when he picked up a flush draw on the turn and I had showed weakness. I don't mind laying it down though, the same actions by him could have meant he hit his set or two pair and didn't want to see that flush come, and I would have been paying huge with top pair and not even top kicker.
