SNG, when I made the move to $50 NL I started out by buying in for $25 and playing a short stack game. I did this for about a day just so I could get used to the feel of the bigger bets without risking more than I was at the $25NL. It's not the same as playing full stacked, but I think it does ease you in.

If you have the bankroll for it I think you should give it a shot, so long as you're comfortable risking the money. That first time you push-in preflop with your aces for $60 and lose to KK really sucks, but it breaks you in and then after that the money doesn't feel so big anymore...
